Category Archives: Divine Punishment

God of the Bible is shown as punishing those who do not follow God’s Word. Interestingly enough, Jesus Christ as God has a similar emphasis in His preaching in the Gospels.

Do you think that America is the Whore of Babylon in the Book of Revelations

The history is unfolding, and God will show us how the prophecies in the Book of Revelations will be fulfilled.  It will become evident to all, when the fulfillment comes.  For instance, Jesus Christ cursed Jewish cities in the Gospels in the New Testament.  When Jesus called the curses of God down on Jewish cities and Israel, the Pharisees and the Sadducees said to themselves, “We are the chosen people of God!” and they were smug.  People thought Jesus Christ was crazy, and Jews believed that Jesus Christ did not represent God’s will.  That is why Jews had Jesus Christ crucified, according to the Gospels.  But when Jerusalem was actually destroyed, and the country of Israel ceased to exist in 70 AD, the Christians all knew that the prophecies of Jesus Christ against Israel and Jewish cities were fulfilled.  Christians know when the prophecies are actually fulfilled.  One thing is clear.  The United States of America does not represent God’s interest in the world. This is a fact:  the United States of America is officially persecuting Christians who follow the Bible with incarceration:

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/04/us/kentucky-clerk-kim-davis/index.html

Certainly, God does not bless America, because America persecutes Christians.  All who say that God bless America are liars, because God does not bless a nation that persecutes disciples of Christ.

Do you think that the current Republican establishment candidates will oppose the Bible when one of them becomes the United States President?

It’s interesting that you ask that question.  Although it is not a direct question about the Bible, it is certainly Bible-related (and also society related).  More importantly for you, this could have personal ramifications.  If you are a Bible-believing Christian, who believes that God (and not the US Supreme Court or the US Present or the US Congress) defines morality for humankind, then your question is certainly relevant.  If a Republican President “goes along” with the United States Supreme Court decision, then the country may be forever lost to Satan’s domain.  So, your question has ramifications for the future destiny of the United States of America as a country and the American people as an entity.  If you believe that God has given us the Bible to follow and that God enforces the Law of God, then there is another dimension to that possibility.  Unfortunately, establishment Republican candidates seem to make little of what is happening in the United States Supreme Court.  Almost as if they don’t care what God says in the Bible.  Just listen carefully to what the establishment Republicans say to the “gay marriage” questions in TV and see if they are helping  Satan’s work or hindering it.  If United States of America went to a bloody Civil War over slavery (which in fact the New Testament has no problems with!) but does not lift a leaf over homosexuality which both the Old Testament and the New Testament vehemently condemn, then what does this mean about the American people?  What does it say about you, your neighbors, your church, and American Christians as an entity?  Is what is important to God not important to you?  To them?  If God exists, and He does, then God will not leave things be.  That is clear in the Bible and that is clear in history.  This is a matter of life and death, literally, for the American people, to overturn the United States Supreme Court decision and force the United States Congress to enact laws against homosexuality and gay marriage.  History will show that God is consistent in history.  And you (at least at the current time) have a possibility of averting the Day of the LORD.  But just like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, when the Day of the LORD arrives, then it will be too late.  There will be nothing – absolutely nothing! – that you or anyone else can do to stop it.  That is clearly shown in the Bible and in human history.

Do you think that increased violence in the American society is related to gay marriage laws passed by the US Supreme Court?

It seems like it is impossible to turn on TV, these days, without witnessing some horrible crime.  Today was no exception.  See what happened today that captured the national attention:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/08/26/reports-two-dead-virginia-shooting-live-tv/32391633/

A man shot and killed journalists on live TV, as to show the world that His life is worth “a damn.”  It is sad and tragic that people find increasingly violent ways to show the world that their lives are worth something.

Of course, the Bible shows us that our lives have value when we accept Jesus Christ and we become children of God by being born-again.  Jesus Christ gives new identity for those who accept Jesus Christ as God and Savior.

In the good old days, when America respected the Bible and prayed in the schools and other social settings, there was less “crazy” violence.  But as American society became more and more secularized, not only did American society become more violent, but the nature of violence took on a whole new tone and texture.  Parents killing children.  Children killing parents.  People killing in movie theaters.  Now, people killing on live TV, as to create their own “snuff film”.

Is this societal development unexpected and irrational?

For Christians, such “crazy” developments are rational and expected, because the wages of sin is death, and society that intentionally excludes the Word of God will become more and more violent and “crazy.”

In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus Christ promises:  “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.”

Mr. Vester Flanagan would have found rest for his soul with Jesus Christ in his heart … but unfortunately, Mr. Flanagan had the misfortune of living in 2015 America, where speaking about Jesus Christ in the public space is socially unacceptable, if not illegal in some settings.  When evangelism becomes “hate crime”, the weary souls become more and more weary, and the society erupts into violence and chaos.

Will this be the last “crazy” act?  Obviously not, since the United States of America has decided to take the Bible out of every public space and exclude Jesus Christ in its laws.

In a direct way, the United States Supreme Court decision to force all Americans to accept gay marriage is directly responsible for the perpetuation of violence in society.  A society which stands against the Bible and the morality of the Bible will descend into chaos and violence. This is an absolute certainly.

When Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Linsey Graham says, “Just obey the law, damn it!” (in effect!) and give credence and authority to the United States Supreme Court to oppose the Bible publicly and officially, the Republican Party and its representatives are directly responsible for this very violence and all the other exponentially more horrific violence that is most absolutely certain to come in the future in all 50 United States.

When you take Christ out of 50 states, officially by law, and force all 50 states to oppose the Bible and Bible morality (in the case of gay marriage) by the force of national law, you have to expect God to punish the nation.

One way God punishes the nation is by making the nation descend into chaos and violence.

Has God changed His position on homosexuality and gay marriage?

I see why you are asking this question.  It seems like some TV preachers are saying that we are to treat homosexuals more like victims rather than criminals.  Although for all of Christian history, homosexuals have been arrested and imprisoned, today’s preachers (even so-called evangelical preachers) do not seem to espouse this position of historic Christianity.  They seem to be soft – very soft – on homosexuality.  So, you are asking, “If such men of God are soft on homosexuality, you should be, too.”  Well, remember, Pope is not the authority, the Bible is.  In the same way, these so-called evangelical preachers are not the ultimate authority; rather, the Bible is.  The preachers who are soft on homosexuality have been negatively influenced by those who oppose God.  The Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Methodist Church (UMC) have embraced homosexuals, although the Bible condemns homosexuality and homosexuals.  They have turned their back on 2000 years of Christian position.  They are trying to persuade you that they are right, and the Bible is wrong.  The fundamental question you must ask yourself is:  Can they allow you to enter eternal life in Heaven?  Obviously, only Christ can do that, so they cannot.  And Christ has given the Bible as our ultimate guide for salvation.  Even if all the preachers and all the churches say homosexuality is okay and that we should protect homosexuals, they would be wrong, simply because the Bible exists and the Bible condemns homosexuality (the act) and homosexuals (the people), both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. God will enforce His Law with His Holy Angels.  God needs no humans to do that.  Martin Luther knew this, and that is why in 1517, Martin Luther stood against 100% of the churches in existence at his time, because he knew that 100% of them were wrong to say that justification was not by faith.  His courageous act in standing up for the Bible, even though he stood alone, forced the churches to re-examine the Bible and some came back to the Bible position.  It is possible for 100% of the churches in a country to be wrong.  That is what is happening in America.  Although we are not at 100%, more and more churches are falling into apostasy and saying that homosexuals are acceptable to God.  No. homosexuals are not acceptable to God. When a homosexual comes to worship at your church, you are to prohibit (not allow) the practicing homosexual to enter your church and worship.  God does not accept worship services of churches that officially tolerate the presence of ACTIVE homosexuals in their worship.  St. Paul was clear about this attitude toward homosexuals in the New Testament.  Homosexuality is a crime in the Bible, and homosexuals should be arrested like murderers.  In fact, homosexuality is a worse crime than murder in the Law of God, and God expects every nation in the world to uphold this essential law.  So, to answer your question, NO, God has not changed.  And God has not changed His position against homosexuality and homosexuals.  If He had, he would have explicitly let us know in the New Testament.

Do you think former US President Jimmy Carter will go to eternal damnation in Hell when he dies of cancer?

Former US President Jimmy Carter is suffering a lot.  And since he has officially declared his pro-gay marriage position to the world and belittled Jesus Christ by saying that Jesus Christ would, too, we can safely understand former US President Jimmy Carter’s suffering as the result of his insulting Jesus Christ and opposing the Bible.  The Holy Bible has zero tolerance for gay marriage and homosexuality.  Any nation that allows them will be punished by God, because this is the principle that is firmly established in the Bible.  Western nations’ economic woes can be seen as a part of God’s punishment of nations that allow gay marriage:

http://news.yahoo.com/chinese-shares-fall-more-5-percent-014250526.html

The very act of allowing gay marriage by law offends God, according to the Bible.  God’s law is the standard for all laws around the world, including laws for other nations and other religions.  Certainly, Christian nations must abide by God’s Law as outlined in the Holy Bible.

God taking away peace from the Middle East can be seen as a part of God’s punishment of Western Nations that allow gay marriage by law in opposition to God’s Law as found in the Bible.  This trouble in the Middle East will likely lead to World War 3, that will involve nuclear weapons and death of hundreds of millions of lives or more.

Why?  Wages of sin is death. This principle is very clear in the Holy Bible.  Obeying and following the Holy Bible is the way to life.  Opposing God’s Word is a way to death – both physical and spiritual.

Jimmy Carter is facing physical death because he opposes God’s Word.  Unfortunately, he does not fear God who can kill the body and throw the soul into eternal damnation in Hell.

So, YES, unless Former US President Jimmy Carter repents of his crime against God and declare homosexuality and gay marriage as being opposed to the Word of God, it is 100% certain that Jimmy Carter will suffer eternity in the Eternal Holocaust, that is Hell.

If you support gay marriage laws of your country, you too should not be surprised if you suddenly get cancer, then suffer tremendously, and die only to go to eternal Holocaust in Hell for everlasting pain and suffering, that is exponentially greater than any pain that cancer can inflict on you.

Do you think Ex-US President Jimmy Carter will go to Hell?

Obviously, cancer brings much suffering.  It can be days, but most likely, it will be months of suffering or years of suffering before the cancer-ridden body expires.  So, Mr. Carter has some time to repent.  If Mr. Carter repents and again upholds the Bible position, he could go to Hell. But you are asking about Mr. Carter dying without changing his position of supporting gay marriage laws of the United States of America.  The Bible is clear on the issue of homosexuality.  Anybody with an elementary education can see that God killed every living organism in Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality.  The New Testament attacks homosexuality in no unclear terms.  The Bible has zero tolerance for homosexuality.  In this regard, it is safe to conclude that anyone (including Mr. Carter) will go to Hell, if he does not repent.  It’s like any law.  If you rob a liquor store, then you will go to jail, if you get caught.  With God, everyone gets caught; no one falls through the cracks.  Anyone who supports USA gay marriage laws will go to eternal damnation in Hell.  The New Testament emphasizes that the fear of the LORD is beginning of wisdom.  In the New Testament, Jesus Christ demands that people fear God, because God can (and will!) kill the body and send people to Hell (eternal damnation in eternal Hellfire).  In Matthew 10:28, Jesus Christ demands:  “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”  Many TV evangelists are wrong to say that God of the New Testament is to be loved, but not to be feared.  The New Testament demands that Christians fear God.  Christians must remember that Jesus Christ who is God will kill your physical body through cancer, car accident, other disease, natural disasters, etc., when you do not submit to God’s Law, and Jesus Christ will send you to eternal damnation in eternal Hellfire, if you do not repent and turn away from gay marriage law support to supporting the Holy Bible’s opposition against homosexuality in all forms.

Do you think God punished former US President Jimmy Carter with cancer because of his support for gay marriage laws?

Former United States President Jimmy Carter had said before that Jesus Christ would support gay marriage:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/07/08/former-president-jimmy-carter-gay-marriage-jesus/29854761/

Obviously, since Jesus Christ is God, and God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for homosexuality, Jesus Christ destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for homosexuality.  Clearly, Jesus Christ condemns homosexuality itself.  Thus, Jesus Christ condemns Gay Marriage.

Unfortunately for Mr. Carter, Jesus Christ (God) does not like it when people twist the Bible to fit their (Democratic Party) agenda and even claim that what they are saying is what Jesus would say, when the Bible clearly contradicts that.

The Holy Bible clearly shows that God punishes.  Honestly, would you respect God if God did not punish Jimmy Carter for what he said about Jesus Christ?  What Mr. Carter did is not only rude but was also a malicious misrepresentation of Jesus Christ in a way that Jesus Christ does not want – as someone who supports gay marriage laws. God punishes those who publicly misrepresent Him and lead His children astray.

And that is what has happened with Former United States President Jimmy Carter.  Jesus Christ has punished former United States President Jimmy Carter with cancer – a very painful way to die – because Mr. Carter usurped Christ’s divine prerogative.

So, to answer your question:  Yes, God has punished Mr. Carter with cancer (a very painful way to die) because he has publicly supported gay marriage and, thereby, led many weak Christians away from the Bible and caused many of them to “fall away” from the historic Christian faith.

Did Jesus Christ ever try to share the Gospel with homosexuals?

Some Christian pastors are going away from the history of Christianity and the tradition of the Christian church by saying:  “We should love homosexuals.” The problem with this is that the Bible never says that the Christian Church (Body of Christ) should love homosexuals. And it has been a consistent practice of the Christian Church to condemn not only homosexuality but homosexuals themselves. Either 2000 years of Christian churches was wrong or these so-called Christian leaders of modern 2015 United States of America are wrong; both cannot be right.  In this light, the question that you are asking is pertinent. If Jesus Christ wanted Americans in 2015 to love homosexuals, then would He not say so?  At least, Jesus Christ would show through example that we should love homosexuals.  But Jesus Christ never does. In fact, Jesus Christ never shared the Gospel with homosexuals. There were a lot of homosexuals at the time of Jesus Christ, but Jesus Christ never shared the Gospels with homosexuals.  Why?  Answer may be found in Sodom and Gomorrah. God wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah because God hates homosexuals (the people) and homosexuality (the act). Jesus Christ is God, so it was Jesus Christ who killed every living thing in Sodom and Gomorrah. Since Jesus Christ as God hates homosexuals (the people) as well as homosexuality (the act), Jesus Christ never tried to share the Gospel with homosexuals.  WWJD.  This is why for 2000 years, the Christian Church never loved homosexuals (the people) or tried to share the Gospel with them. In this regard, preachers in TV are treading dangerous ground before God by saying that you should love homosexuals.  The Bible is clearly against this.

Is there pain in Hell?

For over 2,000 years of the history of Christianity, the existence of Hell has been emphasized.  There is a reason for this. The Holy Bible clearly emphasizes the existence of Hell.  But some people in modern day America try to say that Hell does not exist, because a loving god will not allow human beings to suffer.  Nothing could be further from the truth. We are talking about God, who made a simple command:  “Don’t eat the fruit from a tree (of the knowledge of good and evil).” When Adam and Eve violated this simple and plain command, God could have just said, “Forget-about-it!  It’s just a fruit!  I tell ya what.  Just eat the fruit.  I am not going to forbid anything, since I am God and I am a nice, loving guy.”  But God did not do this.  God gave Adam and Eve capital punishment.  In other words, the violation of eating a fruit was death – real, physical death.  We are talking about a supreme being who has no respect for human life.  There is no sanctity of human life with God.  Otherwise, he would not have taken the life for Adam and Eve for something that seems so trivial as eating a fruit.  Yeah, he made that illegal, but it seems like the kind of violation like telling a white lie.  Lying is sin, ain’t it?  But white lie is so small and it does make the other person feel good.  So, in the whole scheme of the world and big creation of God, how significant can eating a piece of fruit be?  But God gave Adam and Eve capital punishment – literally, a death sentence – for eating a piece of fruit, just because it violated God’s Law, which is simply put “whatever God tells us not to do.”  So, we can see a picture of God, here.  God was not being cruel, just to be kind. God was being cruel to be cruel, and that is the prerogative of God as the Supreme Being.  After Adam, every human being is born with original sin, and thus condemned to eternal damnation. Doesn’t this beg the question:  If God just said – “It’s okay, Adam and Eve. I love you, and I forgive you.  You don’t have to die.  I change my mind.” – then, Adam and Eve would not have had to die.  No other human being would have been born with sin and be, de facto, sentenced to eternal damnation.  But obviously, there is more to God than the simple statement:  “God is love.”  God is far more complex than that, and that is a part of the awesomeness of God.  God is not a simpleton or a one-dimensional being that some Christians reduce Him to. God is far greater, far more awesome.  And Hell is something that shows how complex God is.  We are talking about a everlasting, forever place, whose primary purpose is eternal torture with absolutely no possibility of redemption or salvation (after the Second Coming of Christ and the Final Judgment).  How could a loving God create such a place? No redemption!  Can you imagine that?  After the Second Coming of Christ, there is no chance for you to repent and get out of Hell.  Or if you are hit by a truck tomorrow and die.  You have no chance after that to get out of the eternal damnation in Hell.  Obviously, if you think that you are headed to this eternal torture chamber with absolutely zero possibility of redemption, you would like to know what such a place will be like.  I understand.  To answer your question in simple terms, the answer would be “Yes.”  There will be a lot of pain in Hell.  In fact, God will give all the people who will go to eternal damnation in Hell a new resurrected body, so that they can experience the pain of burning for eternity without ever burning up.  There is absolutely no light at the end of the tunnel.  It will be torture after torture after torture … forever!  Call it “Operation Infinite Justice of God”.  Imagine being waterboarded for eternity in Quantico or Guantanamo Bay.  That’s nothing compared to what’s in store in Hell.  It is so horrible there that Jesus Christ, who is God, who actually made the place, describes Hell in this way:  “There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:42). Have you seen a Rambo-like Marine or Special Forces Delta commando weep like a baby and gnash his teeth?  Well, if you go to Hell, you will see such a thing, for eternity.  Oh, I guess we are forgetting something, here, aren’t we?  You will be in so much pain in Hell, and you will be weeping like a baby and gnashing your teeth that you will not be able to divert your attention away from your own pain to the person near you.  Everyone is suffering infinite pain in his or her aloneness for eternity in Hell.  So, you can be next to someone, but you will be focused on your own pain. Hell is an eternal torture chamber that the God of the Bible has designed, and you can flip through the Gospels to see what kind of people go there.  Make a checklist and make sure you don’t end up in Hell.  It’s a lot more important than applying for a job or a promotion.
