It is important to remember that democracy existed at the time of the Old Testament and democracy existed at the time of the New Testament.
The fact that the Holy Bible never supports democracy is fundamentally important for the Christian church. There is a reason why democracy is never endorsed by the New Testament.
In fact, it was the Roman democracy and its anti-discrimination laws that forced the police in the Roman democracy to arrest the Christians of Rome, who refused to tolerate homosexuality in their churches (Early Christians expelled homosexuals from their churches for being homosexuals!)
It is the right of the American people (We the People) to vote to change the form of the government in the United States of America to another form of government. Democracy is not the preferred choice of the New Testament or the Old Testament, and this fact is becoming more and more important in America as the US government becomes more and more anti-Christian.
Christian leaders in America must consider seriously pushing for change in government in America from democracy to another form of government. Unfortunately, like Roman democracy, American democracy is becoming more anti-Christian, day by day, as reflected in the laws of the Republic. There may be something fundamentally wrong with the democracy form of government. This consideration cannot be taken off the table for Christian churches of 2016.
