There is a disturbing trend in America, particularly among academics and university professors.
Some are equating civil rights with gay rights.
This is happening among African-Americans. But it is also happening among White Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans.
Since the Civil Rights movement has been tied with the most with the African-American community, tying Civil Rights and Gay Rights generally associates rights for African-Americans with rights for homosexuals.
Of course, this hurts African-Americans!
For true Christians, whether they are white, black, yellow, purple in color (“People of Color”), they must oppose homosexuality. In other words, true born-again Christians are duty-bound to the Holy Trinity, the God of the Holy Bible, to oppose homosexuality.
This means that true Christians will fight even to the point of incarceration and even death to oppose homosexuality, as the Holy Bible demands.
Thus, if there is a violent, bloody war because of the issue of homosexuality, true born-again Christians will fight this bloody war, risking their life and the lives of their loved ones, because they are duty-bound as followers of Christ to do so.
Thus, if African-American rights and Gay Rights are equated, then African-Americans will necessarily suffer, whether the conflict hinging on homosexuality is in the courts, in the streets, or in the battle field….
Why should African-American Christians allow their legitimate claim to equal rights, which the Bible does not oppose, come in conflict?
Why should African-American Christians put African-American communities in jeopardy by supporting gay rights and EQUATING it with African-American rights? This is irrational.
African-American Christians must stand with the Holy Bible and be very vocal about opposing homosexuality and Gay Rights.
This is important in the long-run, if African-Americans do not want to be lumped together with homosexuals in the Moral Wars that are currently raging verbally in America, but will most likely degenerate into very bloody conflict in the next few decades, unless pro-gay laws are overturned.
The majority of Americans are Christians and respect the Holy Bible.
Eventually, the majority of Americans will reassert their rights.
Do African-Americans who are true Christians want to fight for homosexuals and die for homosexuals? That is ridiculous!
African-American Christians must be vocal about opposing homosexuality, because it is the right thing to do.
The Holy Bible calls homosexuality a crime against God and a crime against nature. Christians have fought and died for the Bible for two thousand years. This will not change. History is a testimony to that.
