50% of Americans are divorced. Over 90% of Americans are Christians. Do the math! This means that there will be many divorced people who are “Christians”.
It is important for divorced “Christians” to submit to the teaching of Jesus Christ on divorce and acknowledge their sin of divorce. It is important for divorced Christians to repent for their divorce and reaffirm their commitment to Jesus Christ’s teaching against divorce, every day! Jesus Christ’s command not to get divorced is for you in 21st century America and England! Divorce is forbidden by Jesus Christ Himself in the Age of Grace!
It is important for divorced “Christians” to oppose divorce as a way of proving to themselves and to Jesus Christ that they are true disciples of Jesus Christ, who will submit to the Will of Jesus Christ. Those who cannot submit to Christ and Christ’s teaching on divorce are not truly born-again Christians and can expect to go to eternal damnation in Hell when they die.
It is important to submit to the LORDship of Christ regarding divorce.
Pilgrims risked their lives to establish a conservative, evangelical Christian identity for their new nation.
Conservative Christians were persecuted in England by liberal Christians in the same way that Conservative Christians are now persecuted in the United States of America by liberal Christians (like Hillary Clinton and their allies: Atheists, Jews, Muslims, etc.) So, they left the place of liberal Christian persecution of conservative Christians and came to the New World.
The conflict was Christian-Christian conflict in the same way ISIS represents a Muslim-Muslim conflict (like in Turkey). Sometimes, conflict between the members of the same religion is more violent than conflict between different religions.
Evangelical Christians must understand the spiritual warfare is between Bible-believing Christians who recognize the LORD-ship of Jesus Christ and against liberal Christians in the United States of America who want to advance liberalism, secularism, and pro-gay agenda. There is no UNITY in the USA among Christians and there must never be, as long as liberal Christians do not kneel before the feet of Jesus Christ.
This is the founding history of the United States of America. Liberal Christians persecuted conservative Christians and that drove the national identity of the United States of America, which is founded on the faith of Puritan Christians.
Evangelical Christians in the United States of America must prepare for prayer and with strategies and material support for ensuing, developing, and impending conflicts of all types between liberal Christians (who ally themselves with atheists and “haters of Christ”) and conservative Christians (evangelical Christians, Bible-believing Christians in mainline churches). And this conflict can resemble the conflict between ISIS and Turkey. It was that way during Puritan’s time in the beginning of our nation. There is no reason to assume that it will be different in post-2016 America.
What kind of alliances will conservative Christians forge to secure the United States as a Christian nation in a conflict with liberal Christians?
Churches of Jesus Christ that submit to the LORDship of Jesus Christ must recognize that we are not allies of liberal Christians and we do not want “unity” apart from Christ and the Bible.
