Jesus Christ’s Apostles were arrested and killed by a democracy (a democratic form of government). The Roman Empire (like the American Empire) was a democracy that emphasized religious tolerance and fought religious intolerance.
In fact, US democracy is modeled after the Roman democracy.
The two democracies share fundamental similarities, such as religious pluralism and tolerance, which the apostles of Jesus Christ attacked in their fulfillment of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. For the New Testament, there is only one true religion, which is Christianity, and other religions are attacked as being false religions.
St. Peter and St. Paul emphasized that Jesus Christ is the only God, and that all other religions are false religions. This offended the Roman Empire, which emphasized religious liberty and respect for all religions. Thus, the democratic government in the New Testament time arrested St. Paul and St. Peter for hate crimes against other religions in claiming that they are false religions.
Exclusivity of Christian salvation offended Roman democracy as it does American democracy.
Democracy is fundamentally opposed to the New Testament, which emphasizes that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and that all other religions go toward Hell.
True Christians will stand against religious pluralism of democracies and stand with the New Testament and emphasize that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.
True Christians in America wil push to make America a distinctively and overtly a Christian nation.
The Puritans in the New World did not allow other religions. American Founders did not want non-Christian religions on American soil.
Supporting religious tolerance is opposed to the Christian Gospel, which emphasizes that Jesus Christ is the only road to salvation and eternal life. Bible Christianity emphasizes that all other religions are false religions, and it does not apologize for this exclusive claim.
New Testament Christians were arrested and executed by Roman democracy precisely because they would not relent on emphasizing exclusivist redemption through Jesus Christ. Early Christians emphasized that all other religions are false religions and that Christianity is the only true religion. This exclusivist claim was deeply offensive to Rome’s democratic spirit and ethos. So, Rome persecuted Christians.
Christians, instead of trying to emphasize religious tolerance in order to minimize persecution, brought exclusivist claim of Jesus Christ to a greater emphasis and the official government persecution against Christians intensified.
This is the model from New Testament Christianity.
You know that America’s so-called Christians have digressed from New Testament Christianity, because they are “tolerant” of other religions. They are more like the Roman Empire and their emphasis on religious tolerance.
This is evident even in some Republican presidential nominees who emphasize religious liberty and religious tolerance.
Puritans were not religiously tolerant. None of the framers of the US Constitution were “religiously tolerant” in the way that today’s so-called evangelical Christians are.
This shows how far the United States of America has gone away from the Holy Bible.
Preventing arrest of anti-homosexual Christians should not be the prime political activism of Christians in the United States of America. Rather, true Christians must aggressively oppose homosexuality and gay marriage laws and work in political activism to illegalize homosexuality and have homosexuals arrested. True Christians should be willing to be arrested and be persecuted by official government channels for following the Bible, as Early Christians were. The Holy Bible is very clear on emphasizing that homosexuality is the greatest crime in humanity – it is a crime against God, and it is a crime against nature. Following the example of the New Testament Church, true Christians in the United States of America must emphasize exclusive salvation through Jesus Christ alone. True Christians should emphasize that Bible defines morality. Christians must fight homosexuality and gay rights with everything that they have! True Christians in America should force the United States government to persecute Christians through the court system and legal channels, just as New Testament Christians did.
Jesus Christ demands absolute loyalty. Jesus Christ emphasized that He is the only way to salvation, and Jews of His time killed Him for it, using the official court system and the government law enforcement channels. Just look at the emphasis on the Gospels of the New Testament.
America’s Christians must force the hand of the United States government to submit to the Word of God or to persecute Christians who believe in the Bible.
In other words, it is important for Christian churches to emphasize preaching against homosexuality and gay marriage laws.
St. Paul preached against homosexuality from the pulpit, and so should Christian clergy in the United States of America.
Christ does not call His followers to religious tolerance. This is clear in the Gospels. Christ calls His followers to aggressive and active proselytism and conversion program. The Great Commission is clear on this point.
Unless America’s direction is brought back to the right direction, the future of the United States of America can only be bleak. Talk of hope is futile. There is true hope in Christ alone.
There are some good evangelical seminaries that are faithful to the Bible. These seminaries oppose women being ordained as pastors or preachers, in obedience to the New Testament instructions on women in the church.
But Fuller Theological Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, both of which support ordination of women to the clergy, are not among the good evangelical theological seminaries.
Ordaining women to the position of pastor/clergy (priesthood) is at the root of all evils insofar as the church is concerned.
Majority of the women who enter the pastorate do so after being divorced. So, many of them are breaking the New Testament and will not follow Jesus Christ’s teaching on divorce. Some of these divorced women engage in sexual activity outside marriage (adultery), since they are divorced but crave intimacy and companionship. Some of these divorced women will engage in homosexuality with other women out of loneliness. The chances are that women who are divorced in their midlife will not be found physically desirable by most men, even men in midlife. And thus, after divorce, they are left without their emotional and physical needs met through a marriage partner. Thus, some of them, out of loneliness, fall into sexual deviancy, which is homosexuality.
Since most women who are ordained to clergy are divorced, the chances are that these women will lead the church into anti-New Testament practices. Their being divorced itself is against the New Testament teaching of Jesus Christ, but they will try to justify it, since they themselves are divorced.
The United States of America and American churches started to go into the wrong direction after the United Methodist Church (UMC) and the Presbyterian Church (USA) started to ordain women.
Ordination of women is against the New Testament and the instruction for churches is clearly spelled out in the New Testament.
Unfortunately, many so-called evangelical seminaries have veered off from the Holy Bible and support ordination of women. This is wrong from the vantage point of the New Testament.
If your church has a female pastor, you need to leave that church, right away, and find a Bible-centered church. This is important for your spiritual growth and relationship with Jesus Christ.
