Why Does the Holy Bible Justify GenociDal Killing of People of other Religions?

The Book of Joshua shows that God ordered believers to kill people of other religions in genocidal warfare.

In the Book of Joshua, God ordered believers to kill even women and children, and that is genocide.

In other words, according to the Holy Bible, genocides are justified when ordered by God.

Why does God order genocide (killing of the entire race) in the Holy Bible?

One possible answer is that God values true religion so much that God wants true religion even if it means killing entire races.

In the United States of America, Americans killed Indians (Native Americans) who were of different religion, in order to advance Christianity in America.

The idea that genocidal killing is justified to advance Christianity in America can be described as “Manifest Destiny”.

Because Americans believe in the Holy Bible, they supported genocidal killing in order to protect and advance true religion in America.

But America is not alone in the use of genocidal war (killing of entire race) in order to protect and advance true religion.

In World War 2, Germans carried out genocides in Germany in order to protect and advance the true religion in support of the Holy Bible.

The Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church supported gencide of Jews in Germany to protect Germany’s Christianity and advance Christianity in Germany because Catholic theologians understood the theological implications of the Book of Joshua.

In Christianity, genocidal killing of people of other religions is always justified in order to protect Christianity and to advance Christianity, and this is the unifying theme of Christianity since the very beginning.

Christianity has never been tolerant of other religions, because Jesus Christ is not tolerant of other religons.

Jesus Christ spent every day attacking Judaism in the capital city of the Jewish nation of Israel, because Jesus Christ does not support religious tolerance.

The New Testament clearly states that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. The New Testament is intolerant of other religions.

Christianity has envisioned itself as a spiritual reality in violent war with evil in the world, such as homosexuality, and that all Christians are “Christian soldiers”. This language of warfare is found in the Holy Bible.

Jesus Christ is called “King of kings” and the Book of Revelations clearly show Jesus Christ leading Christians in genocidal killing to advance Christianity on earth.

Throughout history, Christians have died because of the faith that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

For 2,000 of Christianity, Christians have killed in warfare to advance the idea that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and all other religions lead to eternal damnation.

True Christians are willing to die to advance True Religion of Christianity.

Will you go to Hell if you kill one of the US Supreme Court justices who chose to legalize gay marriage and force it in all 50 states?

God is love.

Any sin you commit can be forgiven, because God is love.  All you have to do is to ask God for forgiveness.

If you kill a family of five in cold blood as a non-Christian, but come to believe in Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior, then you can ask God to forgive your sins, and you will be forgiven.  You will not go to Hell.

This should answer your question.

But it is important to recognize that not all killing is sin.  A US Soldier killing a Muslim ISIS soldier is not sin.  In fact, it is the US Soldier’s duty to kill Muslim ISIS in a war between USA and ISIS.

Likewise, from the vantage point of the Christian religion, killing enemies of the Christian religion is not sin.  It is like a soldier killing.

Not all killing is wrong,

The 10 Commandments forbids murder (unjust killing), but the Bible clearly shows that God allows killing, such as for soldiers.  Sometimes, God commands killing.  Read through the Book of Joshua and the Book of Judges in the Holy Bible.

Obviously, what is okay with God is not always okay with the world or the country you live in.  In other words, doing God’s work for God’s glory may be illegal in your country.

For instance, opposing homosexuality and gay marriage is illegal in the United States of America.  If you are a true Christian and oppose homosexuality, then you can go to prison after being arrested by the police.  United Sates of America has chosen to stand against God and the Bible on the issue of homosexuality, unfortunately.

Obviously, a Christian must follow God and the Bible, and not a nation that stands against God.

But it is important for Christians to always remember that while you keep God’s law, you may end up breaking your nation’s law.  You have to be cunning enough to evade law enforcement, when you are serving Christ and honoring Christ with your body and skill sets.
