Obviously, cancer brings much suffering. It can be days, but most likely, it will be months of suffering or years of suffering before the cancer-ridden body expires. So, Mr. Carter has some time to repent. If Mr. Carter repents and again upholds the Bible position, he could go to Hell. But you are asking about Mr. Carter dying without changing his position of supporting gay marriage laws of the United States of America. The Bible is clear on the issue of homosexuality. Anybody with an elementary education can see that God killed every living organism in Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality. The New Testament attacks homosexuality in no unclear terms. The Bible has zero tolerance for homosexuality. In this regard, it is safe to conclude that anyone (including Mr. Carter) will go to Hell, if he does not repent. It’s like any law. If you rob a liquor store, then you will go to jail, if you get caught. With God, everyone gets caught; no one falls through the cracks. Anyone who supports USA gay marriage laws will go to eternal damnation in Hell. The New Testament emphasizes that the fear of the LORD is beginning of wisdom. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ demands that people fear God, because God can (and will!) kill the body and send people to Hell (eternal damnation in eternal Hellfire). In Matthew 10:28, Jesus Christ demands: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Many TV evangelists are wrong to say that God of the New Testament is to be loved, but not to be feared. The New Testament demands that Christians fear God. Christians must remember that Jesus Christ who is God will kill your physical body through cancer, car accident, other disease, natural disasters, etc., when you do not submit to God’s Law, and Jesus Christ will send you to eternal damnation in eternal Hellfire, if you do not repent and turn away from gay marriage law support to supporting the Holy Bible’s opposition against homosexuality in all forms.
