Do you think that increased violence in the American society is related to gay marriage laws passed by the US Supreme Court?

It seems like it is impossible to turn on TV, these days, without witnessing some horrible crime.  Today was no exception.  See what happened today that captured the national attention:

A man shot and killed journalists on live TV, as to show the world that His life is worth “a damn.”  It is sad and tragic that people find increasingly violent ways to show the world that their lives are worth something.

Of course, the Bible shows us that our lives have value when we accept Jesus Christ and we become children of God by being born-again.  Jesus Christ gives new identity for those who accept Jesus Christ as God and Savior.

In the good old days, when America respected the Bible and prayed in the schools and other social settings, there was less “crazy” violence.  But as American society became more and more secularized, not only did American society become more violent, but the nature of violence took on a whole new tone and texture.  Parents killing children.  Children killing parents.  People killing in movie theaters.  Now, people killing on live TV, as to create their own “snuff film”.

Is this societal development unexpected and irrational?

For Christians, such “crazy” developments are rational and expected, because the wages of sin is death, and society that intentionally excludes the Word of God will become more and more violent and “crazy.”

In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus Christ promises:  “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.”

Mr. Vester Flanagan would have found rest for his soul with Jesus Christ in his heart … but unfortunately, Mr. Flanagan had the misfortune of living in 2015 America, where speaking about Jesus Christ in the public space is socially unacceptable, if not illegal in some settings.  When evangelism becomes “hate crime”, the weary souls become more and more weary, and the society erupts into violence and chaos.

Will this be the last “crazy” act?  Obviously not, since the United States of America has decided to take the Bible out of every public space and exclude Jesus Christ in its laws.

In a direct way, the United States Supreme Court decision to force all Americans to accept gay marriage is directly responsible for the perpetuation of violence in society.  A society which stands against the Bible and the morality of the Bible will descend into chaos and violence. This is an absolute certainly.

When Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Linsey Graham says, “Just obey the law, damn it!” (in effect!) and give credence and authority to the United States Supreme Court to oppose the Bible publicly and officially, the Republican Party and its representatives are directly responsible for this very violence and all the other exponentially more horrific violence that is most absolutely certain to come in the future in all 50 United States.

When you take Christ out of 50 states, officially by law, and force all 50 states to oppose the Bible and Bible morality (in the case of gay marriage) by the force of national law, you have to expect God to punish the nation.

One way God punishes the nation is by making the nation descend into chaos and violence.
