Most of Americans are Christians, and many of them are very serious about their Christian faith. Some are actively involved in the life of a local church, while some are not. But they are still very serious about their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Many Americans believe that the Bible is the Truth and a guide for personal life as well as morality and ethics.
When many establishment Republican politicians seem to condone such immorality as homosexuality and gay marriage, many American Christians stop believing in them as people who can lead America into a better future.
That is why the majority of South Carolina citizens voted for Donald Trump, rather than vote for an “Establishment Republican” (ER).
South Carolina may be the most conservative state in the United States, but many republicans do not trust Republican politicians, because it was under their watch that gay marriage laws were normalized under the United States Supreme Court.
What angers most American Christians is that Establishment Republicans (ER) did nothing in reaction to the decision by the US Supreme Court. In other words, American Christians are angry at the seeming complacency by current Republicans in political office who refuse to actively and publicly oppose homosexuality and gay marriage laws and do something about it.
In a sense, most Americans want a type of “Regime Change”.
It is important to remember that according to the Bible, when those who are given power to rule by God are not conscientious and brave in following the moral precepts of God in law making and law adjudication, God will take power away from them.
The Bush family has been too emphatic on tolerance of Muslims in America and Islam as a religion, and this is the reason why Jeb Bush did not have chance for victory. America’s Republicans are looking for a leader who will stand up for Christianity and not be tolerant of other religions and their effort to destroy Christianity in America.
It is important to remember that the majority of Americans are Christians who believe in the Bible.
